Nokia 702T Photos, disassembly pics and manual as it passes FCC #RM-730
@anhastats tweeted us yesterday that the Nokia 702T has passed FCC. What’s that?
Well that’s one of the handsets that leaked all the way back in April and was officially confirmed in June.
T stands for TD-SCDMA, for China, and it’s pretty much the Chinese version of the Nokia E6-00. I’m not sure if this already belongs to the new naming scheme.
All the lovely FCC stuff are here of course. Pictures of the device, dismantled device pics and manual.

Something odd is that the battery appears to be the 1200mAh BL-4D not the 1500mAh BP-4L
Ok let’s start looking at some innards.

Finally the manual. Check out that TV feature. It works when you have the appropriate headset accessory (the DVH-H headset?)

So many new handsets…day after day…so difficult to support each one of them.
It actually looks better than the E6. This has more metal, and reminds more of the E71. Also notice it has a different D-pad, its like the one on the E72.
N8-01 please?
no more letter
it may be Nokia 801
perfect
Why would a handset intended for chinese market need to pass FCC’s (an american government agency) tests?
I am not sure but I _think_ its de facto global standard, acknowledged by countries around the globe as a sufficient test.
battery is not better than e6
e6 is still the best
I wander if the notification light works better on this model.
