WMPU caught some tweets from @joemarini, Principal Program Manager here at Microsoft who had this to say about Nokia Windows Phone:

  • One of the slickest looking Nokia phones he has ever seen.
  • Says solid feel, good camera, responsive UI (:P It’s their UI) and nice little touches on the body construction
  • Rates it only 8 out of 10. That’s quite honest for someone rating their own product essentially. But 8/10 from folks connected with making the thing (at least on OS side). That’s not really that good, huh
  • Why only 8? Whilst camera was good, apparently it didn’t have optimal lighting. And he says he wants a larger screen too.
This better be a budget device if he’s complaining about the screen size. I’m sorry but 4″ should be minimal on a 8xx series. As high as 4.3 perhaps and then go to the crazy sizes of 4.5/4.7/5.3 if  you will on more experimental 9xx range.
I can only hope this will reach 8/10 amongst reviewers and consumers.
