Nokia N9 Clone with iOS iPhone/Android HTC Sense style UI

| October 1, 2011 | 15 Replies

Do you remember that fake N9 we spotted on video with ‘Symbian’. Michael and some readers pointed out that it looked like there was an option to choose from a range of different fake OS UI.

Above, you can see it with something more Symbian style next to what seems to be their attempt of MeeGo-Harmattan.

Beneath you can also see iOS iPhone styling (that or Samsung’s TouchWiz :p) and Android with HTC Sense.

    always impressed by the kirfs

they must have gotten the cases out of the nokia factory in china

It’s really easy to make them with injection molding. However, it doesn’t look nearly as nice as the precision machined. It also doesn’t have curved glass. Is it one piece? Hard to tell.

I hate fake phones. If they are so good at making such stuff, why not come up with an original design?

    Off topic:
Why the government doesn’t do anything about it? Oh wait, because even the government does it. Just ask russia’s sukhoi, germany’s siemens and canada’s bombardier, what happened after they sold their products to china.

ever think Nokia should be subcontracting R&D\manufacturing to these guys ?? They seem to be able to turn it on a dime. Rather than years its taking Nokia.

Actually, the real worry for Nokia is when these guys start to behave legit, they are moving at a speed Nokia was 20 years ago.

You can get the housing case, the display and the ear piece online already. Cost about $65 for the case. All you need to do is put in the hardware and software and you can have your own Mokia N9

    • gen says:

btw i think the case and display are authentic one bought from the factory. Sometimes the factory would sell their surplus stocks.

Off topic; What happened to that N9 release in Denmark, which was supposed to happen yesterday? No news about that at all?

    • ZiiimZooon says:

It is released in Denmark yesterday :)
And I can walk into 3 or Telia right now and buy a Nokia N9 if I had the money :p

If you see any fake product on this earth then there is no need to explicitly mention that it is from china. LOL
