Nokia UK gets a fresh new look!
Have you been to the Nokia UK site recently? well if you head over you will be pleased to see a nice fresh new look (Something they did with Nokia USA at the end of August).
Personally I love it, sleek, simple to use and pleasing to the eye….ow yeah, and blue, Nokia are all about the blue now, no more green for them!
From the looks of it, I’d say they timed it perfectly, to have the perfect phone to showcase right there on the homepage. It’s like Nokia are trying to subliminally tell you that just like the Nokia 700, the new site has a Slim look and fast feel (or is that just me looking way too much into it!!)

P.S. I went onto the Store on my old X6 and there was a new update with the official Nokia Store, no more Ovi store, not sure if the same is available on Symbian^3 devices yet as I actually have the beta Nokia store installed on there.

The third country to get the new look (after Ireland and USA). Now it shouldn’t be too long until this gets rolled out to other countries, too.

HOLY SHIT everything is blue just like years ago…i don’t know why it was green themed this whole time but WP7 will fuck up that look cause it’s Windows
33 % of WP user uses the Blue Accent themes.
I think it’s more appealing rather then awful color used in Facebook.

I got the updated new store on my N8 as well.
I think Nokia is getting new country based websites to compliment the region-based ones..
I’m not too impressed by their website. The homepage gives the impression they only sell 3 or 4 products. The products page is simply not finished: no proper sorting, no proper set of filters. On the positive side: the site looks nice.
does this green/blue color have anything to do with the very ugly green/blue transition we had on the old ovi store? and still have on social?
i was almost in tears when i saw the change! i fell in love almost instantly! i think 20% or more of nokia’s drop in shares and stuff was because of that 2002 uninviting green maze of a website…
