Nokia RM-803 passes FCC (comes with bluetooth headset?))

| October 7, 2011 | 15 Replies

 Something called the Nokia RM-803 seems to have passed FCC. No details other than the FCC ID.

The tests indicate it sports a BP-3L battery. Now I haven’t been able to work out what that is, but it also appeared in the Nokia 603/RM 779′s FCC papers.

Something else that’s odd is that it appears to be coming with a bluetooth headset, instead of the usual wired style. Now it could just be that it was tested with a bluetooth headset, but I’ve not seen that happen before. It has always been whatever headphone accessory comes in the box with it.

Now, to include a BT headset, does that suggest something higher end?

The phone is charged via MicroUSB charger, coming with AC-10U.

It sports a FM Radio (as that was tested) and is 3G capable (WCDMA 1900) as well as sporting GPS

    RM-779 -> 603 (Manual Released 11/15/2011)
    RM-763 (Manual Released 12/29/2011)
    RM-803 (Manual Released 11/21/2011)

    We won’t know until the above dates, that’s when the phone manuals are no longer confidential.

    If these are WP phones they wilLl have decent specs. If symbian, arm 11, edof camera, low ram, etc. Nokia seems intent of killing of everything but low end and WP.
