Video: Powered by Qt! (For the next billion)

Here’s a video from Nokia Dev Forum that’s not yet listed and doesn’t yet have a title. The video is about Qt, and things powered by Qt, as well as developers who use Qt for their apps.

Although it seems foolish that developers would want to choose to develop for ‘dead’ platforms as even yesterday’s very positive N9 review mentioned, though Symbian has a shelf life and MeeGo is already folded into Tizen, Qt is its own entity. Note at N9 launch, it was referred to as the flagship Qt phone. MeeGo was hardly ever mentioned.

The video highlights that developers should be attracted, not least because of the huuge user base of Nokia users that download possibly 10 million items per day from Nokia Store, but also Nokia’s next BILLION will also have Qt enabled devices.

Now if only WP had Qt, no? Maybe with Win 8…
