Rumours: O2/Telefonica-Nokia deal set? Nokia Lumia 800 now “Major holiday season strategy”…

Apparently, O2/Telefonica will also be bringing the Nokia Lumia 800. Previously, they were the only network (at least for UK) who was not able to bring the Lumia 800. Speaking with a few Nokia folks in the know at Nokia World, they mentioned they were in talks with O2 to get this sorted out.

According to WMPoweruser, this is certainly now the case. With a deal struck, the Lumia 800 won’t just be there but it will also be a “major holiday season strategy”.

Lumia-O2 deal:

• O2 stores (At least for Germany) will be selling Nokia Lumia 800 during the holiday season. The best selling stores getting “several thousand Euros”.
• Working Nokia Lumia displays next to iPhones
• Promotion of Nokia Lumia 800 on front page of all Telefonica literature.
• TV ads promos and printed media at Universities, train stations and other public venues.
• Every shop manager with training on NOKIA Windows Phone
• Available on 15th (of THIS month) in Black
• Every other colour on December.

Surur notes that Germany has a higher adoption rate of Windows Phones than any other region.
