Nokia App Patrol “Upgrade Your Smartphone OR ELSE!”

In what seems to be a new campaign promoting the awareness of “Apps” on Nokia smart phones, a bunch of Nokia FB pages (Mainly Nokia Mea= Jordan, Lebanon, Syria…) have been take over by Nokia App Patrol.

Nokia Jordan: There have been reports of crimes against Nokia phones, with many of you failing to upgrade your Smartphones with Nokia apps. To combat this technological crime we have sent out the App Patrol on the streets of Jordan.

The purpose of which is basically to get people to register at Nokia Store and begin downloading apps, Nokia seems to have gone all out with this campaign even giving it a designated website: WWW.NOKIAPATROL.COM where you can sign up and “Inform”  on any Nokia user who doesn’t have a Nokia store account. Once the person you snitched on makes a Nokia Store account you are automatically entered into a drawing for a Nokia 700. As always the more people you snitch on the bigger chance of scoring the prize.

There were a couple of videos for the app patrol that I found quite refreshing, different than the usual Nokia advertisements (maybe it’s the pretty girls ;] ), anyway here they are; enjoy and tell us what you think:
