WMPowerUser is reporting that the Nokia Lumia 800 might be getting an update today that may

1) Bring battery improvements

2) WiFi Sharing.

Their source is a tweet by Jurgen Thysman, Communication Manager for Nokia Benelux.  He mae it clear that this is NOT the 7.10.7740.16 update we saw last week.

I’ve not had an issue with battery life with my Lumia 800, and the reports have been pretty mixed regarding some users having excellent battery life whilst some not. So that would be something to look forward to.

What I’m most excited about is getting WiFi sharing. This is built into Windows Phone Mango but it didn’t make the initial cut (is that to appease networks?).

It’s a very useful feature when you want to connect your laptop/tablet perhaps to the internet but you haven’t got any accessible WiFi connections.

Cheers mrprince for the tip!
