Nokia Maps 3D with directions and share (next, bring it to my Nokia phone!)

Just this morning we posted about new cities appearing at Nokia Maps 3D. I did not realise at the time that there was also a new major feature – navigation.

You can now search for places, and get directions! You can also share locations.

I think it’s pretty awesome to have navigation. Currently it’s step by step, pressing each time as desktop browser navigation goes. It would be nice to perhaps go on a little tour and have it pan around for you in that gorgeous photorealistic view as if you’re actually there. This is great to see things before you get there. There’s also the street-view option (the man with a circle head) to see things from the ground in more detail.

The next thing we’d like to see of course is to have this on our Nokia phones!

That purple directions thing isn’t exactly the most easily visible here.
