Video: Nokia N900 gets hacked to use a physical game pad

Will it never ever cease to amaze? NOOOOO! Because it is made of awesome! That is what Maemo 5 on the N900 is and this is why 2 years on the Nokia N900 still makes the front page of Engadget time and time again as folks love to tinker with it.

This time someone has decided not just to remap the keys on the keyboard for a game pad (which is fun and easy) but to actually just create a game pad that could dock into the N900 directly (and carefully :p) via the MicroUSB port.

This folks, that is amazing every day, that is amazing every week, that is amazing every month, that is amazing year after year!

Haha, here’s my chance to be bitter again that we didn’t just go and stick with the plan of making MAEMO phones 🙁 Damn Nokia for going stray and then ending up where we are.

Thanks Dhanur Bhagat  for the tip!
