Video: Nokia N9 clones (white, blue and black)

Here’s another set of imitation Nokia N9s in White, Blue and black.

It sports some kind of pseudo meego-harmattan mix with Symbian and looking very slow and choppy.

LOL. That screen itself is a dead giveaway. Jay, mind posting up how much marketshare Nokia already holds in the UK? Ars is really down-trodding WP7 and Nokia now with their articles, not to mention the amount of Android and iOS fanboys (plus MS haters) in the comments.

Wow, these imitations nearly look like the original N9, but I also noticed the screen as a dead giveaway. Not to mention how laggy its performance is. Pass.

Anyway, speaking of imitation phones, while I have yet to encounter a Nokia lookalike (or other manufacturers), I do remember some peddler peddling a China-made imitation iPhone 4 a few months ago. Cost half the price as the original and looks exactly alike. Don’t know about its performance, though, but no way I’m buying that.

The only thing no one mentions about these clones is if you can or can’t install apps from the store.
Let performance and quality be a secondary matter subject to its price, it would be ok for it to be slower if you are actually paying less than half the price than if you get them from a telco.

What I really would like to know is if then you can install games and other apps as you would on the original phone.
Although limited by memory and processor power, there are some interesting apps that one would like to install on any smartphone.
