Apps For MeeGo Store Client

Was writing up a post about another N9Hack, and realised, I haven’t informed you guys about a new “app store” of sorts for the N9. It allows you to download community developed applications. (Similar to N9-Apps.com, but only community apps.)

Along with "Recent, Popular and A-Z", there is also the ability to restrict categories. Just hit the "All" label. Each app has a carousel view of screenshots.

They even released a client for the N9, a while back, and in my opinion, aspects of it look better than the Native Store. There aren’t many apps on there yet, especially if you are not willing to use the testing repository. If you are interested, head over to Apps ForMeego and download the client. To gain access to the testing repo, you will need to install this .deb after the client is installed.

It, along with the apps downloaded through it, are the only ones that have had updates pushed to my device. Hopefully we see all apps from Nokia Store come with this, as it should have been from launch.
