Lumiappaday #49: Spelling Millionaire demoed on the Nokia Lumia 800
Hey folks, sorry this one’s a little late, I’ve been recording the next batch of Lumiappadays to save time over the next couple of weeks for exams.
On the point of revising, here’s a somewhat educational game though made fun, called spelling millionaire. I’ve only played it briefly but I think the premise is simple. You just select whether the spelling in front of you is right or wrong. I don’t know if later it would ask you to actually spell something.
You have an option to have British (real) English :p :p or American English. Either way the ‘prize’ is in dollars. You can walk away if you’re not sure of a spelling to accumulate points. If you lose well you go back to the last threshold, whatever that may be.
It’s a fun enough game and can be, in a way, may help with your vocabulary. It does have a dictionary to explain what that word means in case the spelling is put so awkwardly you don’t know what it’s trying to say.
