Nokia Lumia sales estimates between 800k and 2Million

Seeing as Nokia is due to  release their Q4 earning in three days (1/26) there’s alot of speculation going around about how successful the WP line of Nokias has been; according to bloomberg an estimated 800,000 and 2 million mobiles carrying WP where shipped (shipped does not equal sold); the total number will probably average around 1.3 million according to Bloomberg.

According to Nokias stock brokers anything above 1Mil should be a good omen for things to come- all things considered:

“If Nokia is able to have a strong launch and surpass at least 1 million and keep that type of momentum, this would help put them in a credible position that is crucial to winning back investors.”

However Others are estimating a loss of $119 million in the quarter (acquisition of smarterphone?? plus the 200 Million dollar advertising campaign hitting the US), regardless this year has already witnessed a 15% increase in Nokias share price (most in the last 2Qs of 2011; after everyone got over the burning platform memo and The N9 & 800 were launched…).

Well 3 days to go…..

Thanks to mprince for the tip, VIA
