RM-833 Passes FCC check

Not much to add besides that it was sent into the FCC for testing on Jan 11th (directly after CES?); my hunch is that this is the Lumia 900 which would line up nicely with the March release date onto At&t phone lines; or it’s something we might see at MWC in two weeks, once again we wait…

Update: Actually now that Maukkas has pointed it out in the commesnt below; it probably is a low end device (due tot he smaller battery capacity), so could this be the Special software feature low end feature phone that’s supposed to be unveiled at MWC?

FCC

Thanks to KF for the tip

i hope the N8 successor and didn’t they say they are going back toa removable battery back…..and N8,E7,N9,800 and it seems the 900 doesn’t have removable battery as well so i HOPE this is a symbain device and the N8 successor

  2. maukkas says:

The battery in this one is 1020mAh (BL-5C). So sorry to disappoint you, but it’s gonna be a lower end device. Looks like we still have to wait for the Real McCoy…

  3. Kanis says:

So it’s a tango device perhaps?

  4. SLAYER says:

    could be a meltemi/smarterphone/s40 thing

    or maybe tango

  5. Zhi says:

At last, rumours of new devices!!

  6. Cod3rror says:

If wonder if that N8 successor is going be just a plastic low end phone with a super camera attached to it?

From the leaked pictures, it sure looks like that. It also has a thick bezel around it.

Or will they make it anodized or from polycarbonate and make it high end? How about mimetic poly alloy?

    let me guess… Asha!

    Check the full RM.

“QTL”RM means it is designed in China. I think China is doing all the S40 designs.

What we need is a device designed in Salo or Oulu or Fanborough.

Test report says that this phone is designed in Beijing, China. It’s sure that this is a low-end mobile phone together with RM-813.

    • prashant says:

agreed that this is low end phone and it will come with smarter phone with s40 paradigm.
      This is the truth.

      • prashant says:

because nokia had only got two things swipe and smarterphone and elop had already phrased swipe to come in windows phones so they are only left with smarterphone os.

  10. prashant says:

but what comes in my dream is that meltemi os with smarterphone interface along with smartness of s40 remains.
