Wordfeud Released for Windows Phone
One of the longtime favorite iOS and Android games has landed on the WP platform, bringing all it’s jumbled letter goodness to the screens of your Lumias (have to chalk up an Appaday for this one). Word feud comes to WP along with a live tile to give you the latest notifications of the in game play- for those who haven’t heard of it Wordfeud is an online scrabble Player vs. Player game where you can play against people all over the world on multiple OSes. (Bonus points granted for using the Lumia 800 int he screens)
We’ve made a few small changes here and there as part of adapting the game for the Windows Phone platform. But if you’ve played Wordfeud before you’ll feel right at home with the Windows Phone version. Perhaps the most exciting difference is that Wordfeud for Windows Phone features Live Tiles. On the front you’ll find the number of games waiting for you as well as an unread chat indicator. On the back there’s a brief summary of the last move as well as the opponent’s profile picture.

Why won’t they make it for the N9?
@Mikkel…If you really want to know the answer to this question, finding out is very easy – simply send and e-mail to the developer!
Sorry mik, didn’t mean to reply to you, my bad
This game is a small step, but before the windows market can be taken seriously, it needs words with friends and hangin with friends. No, I personally don’t use them, but so many people I know do.
+1 (MS/Nokia probably paid them well to make it for WP. Will not likely happen for N9…)
@GL…Is it really so hard to understand that developers actually WANT to develop for and cater to WP users? If Microsoft was going to pay anyone that develops a scrabble type game, I would think it would be WWF. But guess what, no WWF on the WP platform.
Instead of speculating or accusing Nokia and Microsoft of having paid this developer to create this app for WP instead of N9, just send an e-mail to the developer to see if they have plans to create an app to work on the N9
Any word on the Whatsapp app for the N9?
Admittedly Microsoft is openly giving financial incentives to devs to make apps for them, and it’s working.
Qt being an open source platform is expecting devs to flock to it because it’s open source. Money is way more appealing than Richard Stallman.
Or… It could possibly be because of low N9 sales which pushes devs away. Just use the AD software.
would love to use AD… Are there any news about release for end users??
why charge for the game on windows, when its free on android
