Nokia Store Updated to 3.22.054

| February 16, 2012 | 18 Replies

All you have to do is start up your Nokia store (I think on Belle only); and you;ll get a prompt to update to the latest version (with an option to continue using as well- which is a first ever I think?). This update brings the store version to 3.22.054 and if I’m correct the first Nokia Store QML client update that isn’t pushed through Beta labs?

No changelog is available as usual; but for me this update seems to have fixed an error in the store that was preventing me from signing in used to constantly get a “Could not connect to server error”, have you guys spotted anything else (Also seems slightly smoother).

The update is not only for Belle, I’m still running Anna and turning my phone on I got prompted to update Nokia Store. I had an issue with signing in but after another restart everything seems to work well. From the first look the new NS looks smooth and fast.

When I was quite naive, I would go to Nokia Store(used to be Ovi Store) and download for free or buy everything on it. Now it’s useless to me as I download everything now on the web and it’s free.

after updating it now shows the correct value in our local currency to purchase apps for Smart Telecom here in the Philippines. Im thinking that the changelog is more on the local purchasing of apps via phone bill which now supports more operators.

i havent tested purchasing apps via Smart though.

Update available on Anna as well, however the new store client seems to waste more screen space (on the E6), earlier where I could see 5 things at a time, can only see 4 now…Otherwise, seems snappier
