What’s being improved on the 808s Camera

Ok, sowe’ve all fallen head over heels with the 808, a truly worthy successor of the N8- but one thing you’ve heard over and over again (especially by me 😛 ) is PROTOTYPE PROTOTYPE PROTOTYPE (did I mention it’s a prototype?). Well Some of the guys tweeted Damien some of the footage I had filmed under low light (I still watch this video at least once a day just because I can’t get over the amazing sound recording and the details in low light); but the real kicker is the video recording still has ALOT of work being done on it, from the below tweet as well as what we learned at MWC here’s what to expect:

  • Improved Video Stabilization (currently there is almost none I believe)
  • Currently there is no Oversampling while in Full zoom
  • Noise filtering
  • Smoother Zoom
  • Snappier Autofocus
  • Much more…

Here’s the awesome video once again- For Eye&EarGasm watch in 1080p

(random thought; by viewcount it would seem more people are interested in Belle FP1 than the actual video recording abilities- and the overall response is approval, hope that’s a good sign)

Cheers Michael & Dhruv
