Video: Another look at the Nokia Lab from SXSW

Here’s another look at the Nokia Lab dome at SXSW, but this time it is not the official Nokia video. I found this much more informative of the stuff going on there.

I like the bit where they compare the HTC photo with the Lumia on a big screen showing how the colours are more accurate on the Nokia.

There are some neat ways they promote the Lumia. I like how they say the polycarbonate is like the material from the Boeing Dream Liner. Not sure if that’s correct but it’s a way to quickly associate the material and the product standard. The strength of this was demoed on the fly by dropping it. I’ve had my Lumia for a while now and no scratches on the polycarbonate. If it does scratch it would not be very visible. (The gorilla glass though..many fine scratches. Gorilla glass just hates dust. Dust and pocket lint is like a scratch causing medusa to Gorilla glass).

They also have a little smartphone challenge – a little like smoked by windows phone – to show how certain real life situations can be done faster with the Lumia.
