[Homebrew] Lock Screen Widgets on Windows Phone with Lock Widgets

Here’s something neat – more information for your homescreens – this time a quick glance without needing to unlock the screen. It’s neat to have information and activity on the homescreen, no? Amazing stuff to know Nokia were already leagues ahead in terms of the creative minds at their teams after finding out active homescreen things were thought about (and patents applied and granted) in 2007!

This is homebrew/hacking stuff so it’s not officially appearing on Windows Phone but it’s nice to see you can do that if you wanted to. The wallpapers btw are dynamic and can change with the daily bing wallpaper.

More info here:

The UI needs some tightening up, and there are some bugs that need correcting, along with a great deal of optimization. Ideas for widgets and changes are welcome, so sound them off in the comments. As for me, I’m getting back to work.

Thanks Adnan for the tip!
