Rogers Canada Nokia Lumia 900 Pre Order available

The Nokia Lumia 900 is available for pre-order at Rogers Canada.

The phones is priced at 99.99CAD with data plans.  There are various  ‘additional features for free’ with each price plan. Quite shockingly, the plan is 3 years! 😮 I thought 2 years was bad.

My current contract is 18M and I already found that to be too long (I think I paid more to reduce contract length, but I did have 50% discount anyway thanks to a mate). I miss the 12 Month contracts (yearly phone updates). Well, this is North America. I’m yet to find a 3 year contract in the UK. At 3 years I would have expected the price of the phone to be zero.

Potentially folks can buy the Lumia 900 out of contract. I can’t find such links at the moment. The UK would most likely have Pay and Go as well as unlocked options. I bought an out of contract 710 for my sister that’s arriving this evening. Sometimes contract phones work out cheaper or are easier to manage financially. Other times, contract free may be preferable.
