Slurpy the Frog is a learning game for children. The game asks various early learning questions like finding particular shapes, making connections and finding what’s different.

Slurpy the Frog is very touch friendly with big colourful characters and not too much information on the screen to overwhelm a youngster. When you get something right, there’s a very encouraging praise and when you get something wrong, the tone is also nice when it asks you to ‘try again’. This helps to reinforce the action of getting something right for the child. Every now and again after a few games, it will be punctuated by Slurpy the Frog mini game of touching the circle – a fly will follow and then Slurpy eats the fly.

This is an app for children, so maybe you’re a parent yourself with young toddlers in pre-school or have cousins/friends with young children, grandkids or students etc who you might look after every now and again – they might find this interesting. Though always keep an eye on them (don’t just leave them with the phone).
