Nokia 808 PureView Manual and BV-4D battery

I just posted earlier that the Nokia 808 PureView passed ANATEL certification and mentioned that there was a manual available but I couldn’t open the link. It wouldn’t work on Chrome/Safari so I thought it might just be the site but Recruta advised using FireFox and voila. Apparently it also works in IE9. I wonder why Chrome/Safari wouldn’t open it :/.

I find that manuals are most exciting to read when you don’t actually have the product. Why? Anticipation of owning one and gleaning any info from it :). The manual of course is how the 808 was first seen, and at the time it was thought to be a hoax.

This is a very basic manual, with minimal to zero useful information for the end user. All the diagrams that would show the UI are not present. However, it does note some things such as requiring class 6 microSD for 1080p video.

Oh there’s another document showing some photos (no internal ones yet) but you can see the battery, BV-4D. Easily user replaceable, and one ups even the N8 on this regard.

Cheers Recruta for the tip!
