“Something Big Coming This Week” – Probably the Magenta 900?
Nokia Philippines just Shared this photo on their facebook wall along with the caption:
Something BIG is coming this weekend. What do you think it is, Nokianatics? (^_^)
Most people were speculating that it’s the Pureview launch; but I think otherwise, first of all The pureview was never confirmed for Philippines (was it?) Secondly each tile in the image represents one of the now trademark four colors of Lumia line (Stormtrooper White, Cyan Blue, Flashy Magenta and Matte Black); also recall that they did something similar with the nail polish in the picture to the left to tease the white Lumia 800. This added to the Magenta Dummy we saw earlier makes me 96% sure that’s what we’re seeing. Any other thought?

looking at the images I would rather say the white Lumia 900
that one is out already…

I have a N8 and recently i bought my mom a Lumia 710 and we both love it, and now i want a N8 with Windows Phone or a Lumia with the N8 camera
Plus one dude. Coming from n8 to the lumia 800 the camera is a let down.
BUT
the ability to start the camera so quickly and share it so easily does somewhat make up for the lack of quality.
wait until end of september – for the nokia world…
or just get the 808 pureview like me!!

by something big, i assumed it would be a lumia 1000. but magenta , now seriously… that’s getting worked up for nothing
yeah, overpromise underdeliver. Eventhough this time it is trying to hype, not actual promise.
Spot on! If this turns out to be magenta color, it just shows how out of touch Nokia is if they call this BIG news. Overpromise – underdeliver, typical Nokia.
On a side note, I do hope Nokia can keep their upcoming WP8 devices in secret till they announce them. Nothing worse than a major leak popping up just before an event, probably best way to destroy all hype.
talked to the nokia sales staff in the philippines. Pureview this coming june they say. It might just be the 808.
NO way in heck it is Nokia 808 PV. They don’t dare to diminish the Lumia sales.

I have seen a prototype of the 808 from a Nokia Employee here in the Philippines. I actually asked the person if i can have a go with it. So I can pretty much say that the 808 is going to be released here.
So did the Nokia users in Australia and New Zealand. Nokia AU and Nokia NZ employees had Nokia 808 PV prototypes. Will the Nokia 808 PV be released there? NO.
there is a couple of hands on from techpinas and jamonline of 808 prototype during Nokia Lumianation event.

808 is bigger than Lumia devices in all senses… It is truly BIG!
If it is a magenta Lumia 900, it probably is just referring to the fact that it is a large phone.
