Hyderabad Nokia Priority Store to get Nokia 808 PureView today?

| June 12, 2012 | 30 Replies

We got some info that the Nokia Priority Store, Hyderabad in India are getting some Nokia 808 PureViews today, at 3PM. It’s around 12 there now right?

Anyone going to pick one up from there today?

BTW isn’t today when the Finnish folk get to pick up their pre-order of the 808 from the flagship store too?

Cheers Debdas for the tip.

There is a possibility of phone launching on 13th or 14th so we might see Demo’s today in Priority stores across India.

afaik the dealer price is 33,000 Rs, and it will retail at around 30k in india.. :)

  5. vappusima says:

Yeah, the Nokia flagship store in Helsinki has the preordered ones and have also been selling white and black 808s since this morning.

30K or anything less than that is a good deal to buy 808. Nokia may launch the 808 through the joint press conference on June 13th addressed by Nokia and Dolby.

I don’t know about other NPP stores outside Mumbai but Mumbai’s getting one on Thursday.

i heard that the profit margin is very low in Nokia, i know one person who owns a Nokia Priority and he said ” Nokia wala ka pet bharu ya khud ka ” lol

and then he hanged it to a samsung store, samsung has good profit margins

I totally agree, in bangalore I know at 3 to 4 Nokia Priority guys that became Exclusive Samsung dealers in 2 months. They closed the Nokia Concept store in Church street, I was hoping to see the 808 there but to my surprise they shutdown.

      • Jill says:

Same with the Nokia Priority Stores in Inorbit & Infiniti Mall Mumbai .. They are now replaced by ‘Samsung Smartphone Stores’.

Nokia is losing its image significantly.

        • Arun says:

Pureview 808 will definitely be my last nokia device. The droids are all weak at the moment, none of them can really take advantage of dual/quad cores. that LINARO firmware is clear proof that it’s capable of more, but let down by software. android will probably get really strong when version 5 K— launches. till then, belle fp2 with pureview shall do perfectly well. And it’s not like the 41 megapixel pureview is gonna get outdated anytime soon!

          • Jill says:

PureView 808 will not be your last .. There’s Windows Phone 8 coming & as per the updates coming it will be pretty impressive.

Good for Nokia .. Good for us Fans :)

One closed in Goa too, loooks like the Nokia Care is next :(

“i heard that the profit margin is very low in Nokia”

Well, that’s what happens when Nokia has had to keep cutting Symbian prices since 2009 to keep it competitive.

Here’s hoping Nokia can turn that around with Windows Phone eventually. (I know WP is not competitive yet for India.)

      • Lord US says:

Yeah, they have been cutting prices and still lost market share at the same time.

It’s strange how the decline of the market share actually became slower after the burning platfor memo was released. Now what was going on?

  11. Ricardo says:

Nokia has weakened itself with silly statemants of killing Symbian and MeeGo and Meltemi and SXX systems. Window has not replaced them, perhaps a friction of market. But Nokia has reached nothing but a few commets in blogs here or there, but lost involvement of dedicated fans. But those fans are not Window fans at all. If they would be they would not buy any Nokia but a Window device. Nokia should respect customers more IMHO. And what they expetc from Nokia. They pay. Or they simply will not pay anything.

  12. harpe says:

what’s about … CHANDIGARH, when the 808 is coming !
all NPP have no idea yet !!
    anybody knows ?

  13. lovenokia says:

please nokia please, make a red nokia lumia pureview, and that will make my heart warming coupled with an hd screen and dual core processor.
