Crazy Curved keyboard Concept Coming in WP8?

This is definitely one of those things that’s just weird enough to really be useful; as you can clearly see it’s a curved keyboard to match the movement of your thumb, basic geometry really make the height of the keyboard a radius for the circle that is your thumbs reach. It seems to be a mix of QWERTY & T9 as there aren’t any individual  keys rather every 3 letters grouped together which means it’s going to heavily rely on text prediction, which isn’t really a bad thing considering how accurate the autocorrect on WP7.5 is.

Obviously the keyboard above would only work for right handed users; but I can’t imagine them having any difficulty inverting it for lefties, which once again shows the awesome flexibility of touch buttons (Steve Jobs was really right about them in the first iPhone release). Worth noting that WP currently doesn’t allow any 3rd party keyboards (even swype) nor does it have any alternate keyboards (T9, voice typing etc.) so it ‘s not difficult to believe that a new keyboard is in the works.

Do you think WP needs a new keyboard, if so would you use this one?
