  2. Lasse Bodilsen says:

Not so big a difference in the video as i would have expected, but great difference the the sound recorded :-O only the 808 and N8 have good audio.

Strange question, but has anybody done a video in the dark with the LED video light on? I would really like to see this, even if it’s a 20 second clip.

The HUGE advantage the 808 has is the 4x – 6x lossless zoom, which is not even being showed here.

  5. JGrove303 says:

Why would they show the 808′s lossless zoom. That would show that it murders these “competitors” and they can have that. Not after they base Belle into the ground and shit all over it.

The 808 has no lossless zoom. The PureView effect is lost when the zoom is used.

Do you think the PureView effect doesn’t improve the video quality?

Maybe i’m blind or maybe it’s because of the videocompression on youtube. But I’m not able to SEE advantages in comparison to the GalaxySIII (but I HEAR them of course). Okay, they didn’t use the zoom.
BUT I expected to see more dynamic range with the 808 (because of the bigger sensor-size). E.g. When they film a tree I expect to see also the trunk instead of a plain black “something”. Where is it?
