MyDreamNokia #58: Classy, slim, aluminium WP8 Lumia 910 concept
More MDN tips that seem to have gotten missed (Cheers Jules!) This one is by Jonas-Daehnert, who has produced some of the classiest looking designs featured at MDN.
This is a simple, elegant design with hints of N9/Lumia.
A little teaser of the new 910 concept. It’s not done.
4.3′ screen without a black screen frame.
Remarkable thin 6.8mm and very compact.
The body consists of aluminum.
I don’t care about the other specs.
Pure View is a cool technology, but at the moment it looks really ugly.Maybe the next evolution of the Lumia Design Language?

Aluminum is very bad material to use as it interferes with the signals (IMO), i would like it to be Liquid Metal or some kind of special material which Nokia would come up with. Apple has the sole use of the liquid metal for few more years .
there is no IMO here, it either does or doesn’t. judging by the plastic N8 caps, it does.
another ignorant who eats all the apple propaganda and their branding. what liquid metal?, and what exclusivity? does it hurt when you pull things out of your ass?

@Viktor you are an idiot, don’t see the depth before you leap..
You are half right. Apple can use it in any electronic device without royalties but others can still use liquidmetal. I belive that Apple purchased a life long royalty package from LM.
Why woul LM not be allowed to sell to others. That would mean the death of LM. As it is, it is on the deathbed.
The design is different from N9-style and I like it. Imo specs and materials are trivial in these designs since we look for the looks and they might lack knowledge of how certain things affect the phone (like aluminum [connection] and camera [thickness]).
Damn a few more weeks for Nokia World…
Hello I just sent in a concept too.
It’s raining concepts this week.
I think if this design had a grill that hosted antennas like wifi and 3g, but was covered with nokia’s nanocoating technology. The aluminum won’t be a problem

Aluminium can react with a swet and skin, also could be a factor creating serious health problems starting with the cancer with longer exposition. Comparing to Nokia N9 design for me this is huuuuge step backward. We are not in 80-thies of previous century. IMHO.

The buttons must conform to the shape of the edges or shapes of the length of Smartpone
This is a revolutionary design. I won’t complaint about the camera if the design is so perfect. I am happy to carry my 808 along with this beauty. Just make it real.

This is a very slick looking designed. Polished and anodized 6061 T6 aluminum would be just fine. I’m sure a radiolucent window can be implemented.
i guess this one wouldn’t have any antennas ..
I would prefer a slightly larger screen and it has to have PureView so this is not my dream Nokia.
I should have added that it is a beautiful design though.
Reminds me of that community designed thing winner that was arranged by Nokia a couple of years ago.

Something easy to carry, hold and grab please ? Like L800? sure. But, not L900 or L920. Not even like the one above!
I can take the looks of L505 with 4.3″ screen and high-end specs. And I hope they’d stop this obsession with mobile cameras. Clunky mess!
