Did We Just Spot The “Lumia Phi”? Nokia’s First Phablet

Earlier today we posted what seemed to be a prototype WP8 by Nokia that somehow walked out the factory doors, as you can see in the image above the leaked device is much larger than the Lumia 900, almost 5 inches. Is this a Galaxy note competitor? Personally I hated the note when I first saw it, but now I genuinely want one!

The supposed specs of the Nokia Phi are:

  • Single Body Polycarobante
  • Qualcomm Dual Core CPU
  • LTE
  • NFC
  • Curved Screen
  • Extrernal SD card

Those specs look quite promising for a Lumia 900 successor, hopefully it’ll carry a big enough  battery to support all that power.

*Note- I think it’s safe to assume that this WONT be carrying any pureview tech considering the size of the device, so at least we can look forward to one high-end device soon.

This might not be a wp8 device , it might be a wp 7.8 cause of the wp 7.5 home button

They are not going to release a high end 7.8 device at this point. So the only possibility for this to be 7.8 would be that its an old, cancelled proto.

I love this device if it’s true

Nokia is not smart enough to release phablet phone

i hope it’s just a prototype to test the next phones hardware, otherwise i am dissapointed. i want sleeker lumia design, like we saw in all the fan rendrings, not a chubby, bigger phone with the same design. i am really dissapointed. to much bezell , no matter the size of the screen it’s just too much
