Nokia Suite 3.5 Beta for Windows adds N9 support

| August 9, 2012 | 4 Replies

Another post from NokConv who reports that Nokia Suite 3.5Beta for Windows adds support for Nokia N9.

Nokia Suite 3.5 Beta for Windows is a useful tool that is used to perform a variety of tasks, including:

  • Backing up your contacts to the PC
  • Saving your text messages
  • Transferring multimedia items, such as music, photos and video, to and from the PC
  • Downloading of important software updates to your phone, including app updates.

You can also get map data, send messages, sync texts, install Nokia store stuff, get music etc. This isn’t yet the final version so we’ve been told to expect bugs.

Interesting that they are still promoting Suite and N9. Especially since it is still beta. Or Conversations is out of ideas until the WP8 device launches. Id expect Nokia to stop Suite development within a year. Does it even support Asha series?

Nokia suite is quite wonderful software for connecting all Nokia phones.
Software reinstall, software update, Nokia store apps download directly through Nokia suite to mobile!, offline maps download!, contact sync.
    The software is just awesome.

Still some limitations for N9, but all in all very useful.

Always had troubles by downloading maps over wifi on N9, with Nokia Suite works fine.
