Nokia in Finland should wake up because they’re getting owned by Samsung.
windows isn’t gonna help them with that problem
no?

I wonder if WP would have surpassed Symbian if Nokia had continued to push Symbian alongside WP; I certainly don’t think it would have, at the very least so quickly
Actually it has done the opposite. People have been leaving Symbian just a bit later than Europe.
Need to remember that Nokia lost it’s position as top smartphone maker way before Elop to Samsung thanks to Symbian.
After WP Nokia’s high end sales have again picked up in Finland.
deep didnt say symbian would be better/right choice he simply said wp isnt going to help against samsung
it’s amazing how deep space bar has brought his lawyer to MNB

Which world are you talking about?
According to Gartner ( http://www.gartner.com/it/page.jsp?id=1764714 and http://www.gartner.com/it/page.jsp?id=1848514 ) in Q2/2011 Samsung was still the third largest smartphone maker- they won the crown in Q3/2011. This happened well after the 11211 announcement of the Microsoft-Nokia Partnership about Windows Phone…
Samsung #1 in finland !!
congratz
Not even close.
Nokia has won previous quarters clearly and probably does this as well.
Nokia has the oldest lineup with Apple so it’s kind of natural Samsung is doing ok.
In Finland Apple is much more closer to Samsung than rest of the world.
no future for finland!
