Straw that broke the donkey’s back?
I don’t want to take anything away from the 808 or the jaw-dropping photography and video we’ve been seeing it can produce in the right hands, but is anyone else getting a teeny bit bored of these ‘look what I shot with my 808 posts’?
I suppose it does offer some relief from the tension we all have building over the Wednesday events…
Amazing, staggering, etc, etc, yadda-ya.
Apologies that this is not to your taste, but it’s not really something I’m planning on changing.
I want to show off what people are doing with their Nokias, especially PureView.
I hope it’s ok, being a Nokia blog and all.

Some photos that demonstrate pureviews (in-) ability to be a replacement for scanning pages of paper would be totally awesome.
The issue isn’t with the camera quality, it’s with the applications; I have a great app on my ipad called Genius Scan+ which scans papers with the camera, then optionally it can read the text and reprint it as a PDF. If the iPad can do that, then the 808 should give you a 3d render /JK. but it needs the proper application
true to an extend but im already extrapolating into the future.
I have used MS Onenote for quite some time now. even tested the MX version for windows 8. They bring a really good OCR with them.
So the power of PureView + Onenote + Windows 8 seems very promising to me
when i read words on internet ‘poreview and lumiapaday’ i get headache instantly…so disguesting names.
