One of the commentators here mentioned that one of the MS people accidentally let it slip; on-sale in 2mths.
Apparently Nokia’s still trying to keep it on the down-low, possibly in the hope that they may get it out sooner.
it’s not intentional. the meeting with operators is taking place today in finland. they are barely setting up the deals and deciding who wants them . once they will finish the deals they will anounce availability. i suspect it’s in late october
I gotta mention an old post of Jay about Nokia not knowing how to advertise their good stuff and strenghts… Even though the L920 is clearly the better phone, I found the 820 AD more appealing and more interesting… Also, I think they should focus more on the differentiating factors like PureView and the stabilization and low light capabilities, Maps, the PureMotion HD+ screen… They still make it look like a regular phone… They should make it look like it is something never seen before, more exciting, something new… And not just another AWSOME smartphone.
Anyway… The phones are looking good, gotta admit, really loved the white and lippstick red L920′s, and the PureView capabilities are REALLY GOOD…but there’s still some stuff missing which people ask all the time, and got used to, like USBOTG, HDMI/AV OUT, microSD slot, FM Transmitter, FM Radio… and etc etc…
i’m really loving the yellow colour, but when will it be available ?
There was a q&a session after the announcement, and elop said that they will be available at q4. No specific daye however. Hope this helps you

This kind of ads are what should be seen everywhere! Now it`s the time to push. And hard.
anyone else noticed that the 920 looks different in the video about the screen? Logo centered, no extra room beneath bezel. Looked awesome!
Must say a really like the new slogan. With all the special features presented and the ends with. “This is Lumia”
