Video: Topolino70: Shadows and Lights, Ports and Shores
It takes skill to take simple everyday things and make them look stunning. That needs a great camera to capture those moments and a great vision by the person holding that camera.
As usual, we have Topolino70 showing us how it’s done. From N8, to E7 to 808.
Shadows danced at our living room as the sun shined brightly behind wind waving trees and fast moving clouds.
Shot with Nokia 808 and with Velbon C-600 tripod. Edited using Sony Vegas 11.
The Edward Scissor hands style music really suits the last third of this video.
Somehow I am always drawn making videos near to lakes or water generally and it’s no wonder: What other element can be so interesting and dynamic than water?
Scenes seen at video are shot from Lahti and Tampere, Finland.
Videos shot using Nokia 808 pureview + Velbon C-600 tripod. No other lenses attached. Video edited using Sony Vegas 11. I adjusted brightness and contrast with many clips seen on video since I shot them accidentally with too low contrast (to my taste
)

they should give him a 920 .. he won’t need that tripod
But the end result won’t be as good, not even close
Edward scissorhands style music? haha, come on!
In the movie industry, the camera is mounted on a dolly for smooth tracking, and someone invented the Steady Cam for hand held smooth camera work. Nokia can make an external gizmo for 808 fans
By the way, I’m dead against fake musicians like the soundtrack in Shadows & Lights. It’s all plastic synthesizers. There should be a law against fakes
