NokConv: Nokia Lumia 820 comes out of its shell

Nokia Conversations have posted up a nice article on the innovation in the Lumia 820’s interchangeable shell. Besides the fact these shells are interchangeable, whilst still having a premium feel, they can be swapped to enhance the device. Take a look at the Charging Shell. Swap the original shell, for one with wireless charging compatibility, and now you have an added feature; wireless charging.

The post also details a “ruggedised” shell. I never knew about these before the post. This is something awesome, as a lot of the time, getting cases for your device to make them stronger, often makes them extremely thick and ugly. These still have the vibrant colours many fans like.

The shells are set to be available upon the Lumia 820’s launch.

Cheers Glenn for the tip!
