Nokia Asha 205 gets leaked on Navifirm

| October 20, 2012 | 11 Replies

It has been months since I looked on Navifirm, but every time I do, I find something news. This time was no exception.

We have previously seen leaked product codes for devices such as Nokia RM-838/852, etc  which were also quite a mystery, even for a while after they were first spotted. They turned out to be Asha and Lumia devices.

So for this device leak, we actually have a picture, well it is actually just a thumbnail, showing what we are led to believe is the Asha 205. As we know with all Asha devices, it will run S40.

Regards.

So it will be an updated Asha 200… I wonder what improvements it will have. Probably faster processor and perhaps WiFi. Clearly no touch screen (not surprisingly, since the S40 Touch and Type UI does not support landscape screens). The image looks strange in the way that it appears to have the old style (S60v5 compatible) S40 icons, but perhaps it was taken with some very old early development firmware.

Looks better than the new Blackberry Curve 9315 for T-Mobile
