Weekend Watch: Nokia Lumia Smartphones Diwali Offers with Priyanka Chopra

| October 20, 2012 | 9 Replies

In addition to the Diwali offer for Nokia Asha, Nokia’s also doing some Diwali promos for Nokia Lumia wherein you can get free accessories too, starring Priyanka Chopra.

Stay away from the noise and transform those fireworks into colours this Diwali. Buy a Nokia Lumia Smartphone and get colourful accessories free. Even Priyanka Chopra agrees, this Diwali, let’s celebrate Holi.

I don’t know much about DIwali but from watching “Outsourced” I know it’s all about colors and life- which fits the Lumia range perfectly (if only the 920 was out now :/ )- Can someone here tell me if this is the equivalent of Christmas/Eid? is this the biggest event of the year? (do you get presents and stuff?)

Oh and BTW- That box looks REALLY tacky… it looks like a toy set.

it is somewhat the biggest festival in india but its not about colours actually … its about the win of GOOD over the EVIL so the whole fire crackers to celebrate the win of GOOD … the festival of colours is HOLI in India

colours play an important role in almost all festivals in india.

That’s right, Diwali is the biggest festival for lot of Indian Hindus, probably not for all.
Some religions like ours have our New Year in Diwali period, so it’s biggest festival.

No one buys Nokia in India anymore..except me I guess..everyone uses an S3 or the Note(the Note is huge here)..considering they introduced the Lumia 900 at Rs. 32,000 here, when the S3 is available for Rs.33,000 no wonder people don’t buy Nokia.

october and november are the 2 months in india when people mostly buy electronic devices, gadgets and all.Perhaps Nokia should have launched Lumia920 or atleast 820 to get the best of sales in indian market..POor marketing done by nokia promoting old lumias..
