Official PreOrder Page for Lumia 920 Live in Russia; 24,990 RR/ $800

Nokia Russia has started taking pre-orders on the fabulous Lumia 920 on their webpage; however the pricing seems quite steep, at 25,000 Rubles or $800 dollars. I’m not sure if phones are usually that expensive in Russia but it would seem it’s a lot cheaper to buy one unlocked from bestbuy and ship it over.

I shudder to think what the 920 will cost in Jordan, especially before it’s widely available; seeing how the iPhone 5 here is currently selling at 1000-1100 JOD = $1500 USD!!

  2. muhs says:

in russia, iphone 5 costs $4000 so i think the lumia 920 is priced very well

  3. SLAYER says:

I doubt they’ll price it beyond the JD 550 mark. they need to compete with the SGS crap.

Hopefully, I was hoping for similar pricing as the 808 (450 JD) but I doubt that’s gonna happen- BTW since you’re in Jordan have you noticed the Nokia stores in Amman closing.. both City Mall and Mecca Mall branches are gone..

The unlocked version always costs more. The one from best buy is inactivated but not unlocked.

Its £469? In the Uk for the 32gb version. The Ip5 is £600. But Nokia dont emphasise enough it has 32gb. I dont know howuch is available for use though.

In Uruguay the Nokia Lumia 900 (not 920) is 12xU$S45 on a 3 year U$S35/mo contract

    Stop crying.

Too high for the general Russian consumer!

    Maybe Moscow, St Petersburg etc…

In other places, I’d be a little nervous pulling out my 920 in public!

  8. d12south says:

Jay, please bear in mind that the bestbuy price of 599 is Unactivated but not UNLOCKED.. the device will still be locked to ATT to buying it and shipping it over to any place outside the US is not an option..
Please other users correct me if im wrong..

  9. Carbontubby says:

That’s some crazy pricing all over the world, from around USD600 in India and on Bestbuy, to USD699 in the US also, to USD800 in Russia. I wonder why Nokia can’t standardize the worldwide pricing and just add whatever import taxes are required later.

Well, I dunno… N9 used to cost 21000 rubles when it came out.
