Here are a couple of videos talking about Nokia’s Xpress browser, the cloud based  service that optimises websites for your phone and cuts the data usages. The first demoes it on a rare grey Nokia Lumia 920 whilst the second focuses on Asha.

Nokia Xpress is a content discovery app that connects you to the internet in an entirely new way.

Nokia Xpress Browser moves your web experience into the fast lane — so now it’s even quicker and more affordable to surf the internet, and explore thousands of apps on your Nokia Series 40 phone.

    It’s not grey Lumia 920
    it’s a Lumia 900 with silicon case

    • Thought the same thing. Definitely a Lumia 900. t one point I think a Lumia 800 is displayed also.
Either way, the Xpress Browser is a good feature.

That’s not the Lumia 920. It looks like a 900. It has the old WP button and the front facing camera is in the wrong position. On the 920 it’s on the right.

  • Except that Nokia can and does decrypt your SSL connection.. Not very trust worthy imo.

Indeed. It’s really unforgivable that Nokia are proxying HTTPS connections through their servers and decrypting them with no option to switch that off.

Just downloaded this, hopefully it will help.. Didn’t think I would need it when i first got my 920. But within the first five days of the month I used 840mb. So I went into conservation mode, pretty much restricting the use of cell data to never. Yesterday I was at 860mb I decided that it was okay to LTE while I went to the movies. It couldn’t be too bad, right? Wrong. Now I’m on 1.3gb on day 13 of 31(still on an old ATT 2gb/mnth.) Never have I had to worry about data so much.. Anybody else notice WP8 using tons of data or is it just me?
