Amazing Weather HD For Windows Phone 8 Updated; Brings LockScreen Notifications and More!
Amazing Weather HD has long been my favorite weather app for both Windows Phone 7 & 8, the in app animations have been second to none; and the overall app is so smooth that it earned itself a spot on our list of MUST HAVE Lumia apps. Well Amazing Weather HD just received a pretty nifty update for Windows Phone 8 (WP7.8 version coming soon) that plasters your weather forecast on the lockscreen, the cooler part is the fact that it can overlay it over changing wallpapers (such as the Bing daily image; with more promised to come).
The latest changelog includes:
– New dynamic lock screens in two themes (Modern, Realistic) with Bing wallpapers image support (more is coming soon).
– New Live tiles with mix and match option for all sizes, small, medium and wide.
– Added Feels Like temperature to app.
– Enhanced Live tile image quality.
