Microsoft Working on a Fix for WP Phantom “Other” Storage
Windows Phone users might have spotted an annoying storage issue where the “other” storage partition of the system would constantly expands reaching ridiculous sizes. In part some storage can be reclaimed by some apps such as  “Shrink storage” I can’t testify to its effectiveness but others seem to have had good results.
In the mean time head of the Windows Phone team at Microsoft Joe Belfiore commented on the issue, stating that it “will get better” with future updates, in the mean time auto upload to skydrive should ease the pain slightly.
