Here’s a 20 minute video to explain some of the things you can do with Unity for WP.

I like Vlad Kolesnikov’s accent (on the right); he sounds like an eastern European Christopher Walken.

Could someone explain, how these game enhines/platforms work? Is this the same Unity engine that that was already on N9 or never one. Are there major differences with this and the N9 version.

As far as I understand, publishing games, when Inity is on place, should be straightforward. For some reason, there has been no new Unity games for N9 for a long time. If publishing a game is easy, I would have expected some more gamea for N9 since the installed base is reasonable and effort to publish limited

Don’t know about N9, haven’t seen any official support for it in the Unity-site, which would likely explain the lack of published games.

Unity coming to WP should give a nice boost to the platform. A couple more months for full support though.

Development of Unity export for MeeGo Harmattan was abandoned shortly after they’ve figured out that Nokia intends to throw away the whole platform completely – they did release a beta/demo exporter to some of their clients, but never went further than that.

To my knowledge, the only game ever released to the N9 using the Unity engine was Samurai II: Vengeance.

I hope dead trigger gets ported, graphically its the best looking game I’ve played on iPad, pretty good fun too.

    This game makes me dizzy.
