Video: Lumia 520 Gaming Performance Test

We’ve established that WP8 runs pretty smoothly even on the lowest device on the hardware spectrum, but what about actual gaming performance. True WP8 doesn’t have the more taxing games (but it’s getting there, with the inclusion of some of the more graphic intense games such as N.O.V.A 3). The other issue facing these limited hardware devices is the fact that some games aren’t optimized to run on them (namely Temple Run, and a few others that escape me); however the ones that do run seem to work just fine on this budget device, check out the video below:

The games run perfectly fine, and resume almost instantly (as seen in the video); I think the perceived lag in games (like in jetpack joyride) was mainly due to the inferior screen and lack of puremotion HD; over all though the 520 performs remarkably well (considering my expectations).
