NOKIA 808 VS SAMSUNG GALAXY SIV ZOOM

Watching this video, I’m feeling the original purpose of the 41MP sensor (of which is the largest ever on a mobile device, not in terms of just MP count but the actual sensor size) is lost. Zooming ‘lossless’ is awesome but the biggest thing is PureView – SuperPixel, combining several pixels into one perfect pixel for the best quality image.

Anyway, check the video out. They say the 808 is the camera with a phone whilst the SIV is a phone with a camera. Perhaps on software -with Symbian being the niggle of most of the 808 reviewers. On appearance, the 808 certainly appears to be the smartphone.

Nokia EOS, is then going to be the super camera smartphone. I just can’t help but find the SIV Zoom horrendously ugly (hey, not dissing it because I’m a Nokia fanboy. We’ve got several sammy things at home)
