MNB RG: Nokia 808 PureView, Galaxy S4, Nokia Lumia 720 Gundam Photo Comparison

Here’s a quick comparison of the cameras of the 808, 720 and S4 by Zymesh. This is a limited test scenario of course, but for seemingly close up shots, the S4 is quite consistent. The 808’s flash is too strong in some instances . I think people shots is where something like the 808 and it’s xenon will fare better. 720 looks really good with no flash involved – that f/1.9 aperture (with NO OIS) eating up a lot of light.

I did a camera comparison early this month for Nokia 808, Samsung S4 and Lumia 720.

All are auto settings but 1 set is with flash. All images are taken using the same distance from the subject. S4 tends to look zoomed in due but its not.
