The Nokia N95 was the first ever true all in one convergence device. It was the first to have everything. Awesome camera that took brilliant pictures and video, ‘great’ (at the time) browser, smartphone features (apps!) music buttons to be a music player with a standard 3.5mm jack, TV out, GPS sat nav. It got me and many Nokia fans irked when the first iPhone was released as it was a toy in comparison to the N95.

The N95 represents some of the best of Symbian, a pioneer in hardware amongst the competition.

To me, the Nokia Lumia 1020 has the same significance as it offers photos as good as point and shoots in its price range, and is reportedly better than any other cameraphone offering. Folks really are leaving their cameras behind with minimal or no regret; the same feeling people began to have with the N95 when camera phones seemed to no longer be a gimmick and something that could reliably capture and preserve special memories and moments in photos and videos.

The N95 was uber popular, and saw iterations in the N95 8GB as well as the N96/N85/N86 dual sliders.MNB IMG_1047NOKIA N95 VS LUMIA 1020 MNB IMG_1048NOKIA N95 VS LUMIA 1020
