Here is an excellent, and fair thorough review of the cute little Nokia Asha 501. The GSMArena team have a lot of respect for this handset and its history and finds it as being a fresh take on the touchscreen dumphone concept.

GSMArena love the hardware and design (considering the price bracket) and find the Asha platform (which reminds many of us of Swipe UI on the N9) as being fresh and the closest Asha has been to being a touchscreen with features of the core platform not far from the basic droid or WP7.8; a solid performer at around 100 EUR, which at this price means it is said not to have few natural rivals.

Cheers Alvester for the tip!
