Video: Nokia HERE Maps bringing Map Data to life – improving road safety

Here’s Myriam Joire looking at how Nokia brings HERE Maps data to life. Check out how Nokia can use this data to work out breaking points of cars as they take bends in roads, which can be used to improve safety on the road.

 The company’s researchers are also using anonymous smartphone, PND and even CAN bus data to further our understanding of traffic flow and driver behavior in different conditions. Beyond improving maps and navigation, the goal is to make our roads better and cars smarter.
