According to a report by Bloomberg, Microsoft are in talks with HTC to find a way to get Windows Phone on HTC’s Android devices. Since Microsoft’s purchase of Nokia HTC  have been silent about their future for WP devices, but with many rumors claiming that they will stop producing, or give it even a lower priority than they currently are. In an attempt to make things right it seems that Microsoft are negotiating a way with HTC to get WP on their devices for a low or no cost.

Of course at the moment these are just rumors of preliminary talks, with no clear details of what this might mean for the WP ecosystem. But surely losing the licensing fees would increase the attraction of Windows Phone to OEMS.
